After the wedding....around 6:00pm....we drove down the Pacific coast for 2 hours.
The views were spectacular! The ocean was just there on the right as we drove down the rode sometimes way up high on the mountain and no guard rails. We continued to drive until 1:00am. We stopped about 15 mile from the state line. We have been driving most of today (Sunday). We are now in Medesto, California. The kids have been swimming in the indoor pool because it is 103 degrees outside. Mike is resting because he has been doing all the driving. We have now driven 4777 miles. Of all those miles Tracy drove zero, I (Karen) have driven less than 5 miles (to the grocery store back in Denver), Jessica drove for 2 hours in flat Kansas (Tracy and I could not sleep during this time) and Mike has driven all the other miles. We are having a wonderful time seeing all the change of scenery. We miss you all. We will travel to Yosemite tomorrow and then on to the Grand Canyon.
